25 years ago in picturesque surroundings of Sartai Regional Park, where the cleanest and the biggest lakes of Lithuania stretch, bread bakery was founded.
UAB “Lašų duona” is 100% Lithuanian capital company, a family business from generation to generation giving our customers a possibility to enjoy a natural and authentic taste of Lithuanian bread. Thanks to the accumulated experience we are flexible and able to adapt to the individual needs of each customer.
Now UAB “Lašų duona” bakery became one of the most famous bread and pie products production company in Aukštaitija (Upper Lithuania) and in the whole world.
Production
Folk wisdom says that the warmth of human hands gives a taste for bread
Even though we use modern production mechanisms, we strive to preserve the relationship of a human and bread. Machines mix, roll out the dough, but in the process of production human hands also have a part to play.
By continuously improving production technology, we create new recipes of products; give new colours of a taste for the favourite products.
In the process of production, we use no chemical additives in order to artificially improve the product quality. Scientific researches have long ago identified that dark rye bread is easily digested, its nutritional properties are better.
In the bakery there is implemented deep freezing production line for baked products; this line noticeably prolongs the expiry date of a product as well as preserves all properties and quality.
We successfully export frozen production of bread and pie into America, Australia, Iceland, Canada, China and such countries of the European Union as the Netherlands, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, and Denmark.
