Probably all people know what kūčiukai are. They are small items baked of wheat flour; they are a usual product for holidays. Kūčiukai (also called as prėskučiai or šližikai) are in every home during Christmas and Christmas Eve. The best kūčiukai are lightly sweetish, seasoned with poppies and deliciously crispy. Such kūčiukai are delicious, when you dip them into milk and then eat. Kūčiukai are easily made at home, however, modern housewives do not need to have troubles and wait until the dough will be raised because they can buy kūčiukai for Christmas Eve at “Lašų duona” bakery. They are simple kūčiukai which will remind a perfect taste of childhood. It is a festive product, however, you can enjoy them from the beginning of December until the very end of January that good mood and perfect taste wouldn’t leave you for a longer time.
